João Paraíba Vieira is the new president of Grupo Desportivo Estoril Praia for the 2025-2029 term. The businessman who led the List A competed alone for the elections of the club's social bodies, with the single list obtaining 129 votes in favor, 6 blank and two null votes among 137 voters. "It's an enormous honor and with a deep sense of responsibility that I take office today as the 34th president of Grupo Desportivo Estoril Praia. It's with a spirit of mission, unity and commitment that we start this new cycle. We know that the path will not be easy, nor with immediate results, but I deeply believe that these results will appear, mainly because I trust our team and because we are united in the purpose of enriching Estoril Praia. Today we renew a historic commitment: to serve our club with dedication, determination and passion. Long live Estoril Praia", he said in the takeover. Accompanying João Paraíba Vieira will be the vice-presidents Luís Roquete, who will have the sports department, and Pedro Borreicho, responsible for the infrastructure. The rest of the management team will be composed of Bruno Baliza, administrative and financial department, Rui Júnior, sports department, Alexandre Simões, members department, Luís Branco and Marta Machado, modalities department, Hugo Afonso, commercial and members department and Gonçalo Vicente with the infrastructure department. The club's social bodies were also subject to changes, so from now on, the Assembly General Board will be composed of President Luís Cardoso, Vice-President João Rocha, Secretary Diana Sanches and Substitute Secretary João Rodrigues. The Fiscal and Disciplinary Council will be presided over by Ricardo Coelho, with Vice-President Pedro Tomás and Secretary Miguel Esteves. The ceremony of taking office of the new social bodies was held half an hour after the end of the vote closure, in the Multiuse Room of the Despensa Cheia Restaurant, in the Estoril Praia Training and Formation Sports Center.
