Estoril Praia and Paris Saint-Germain were the winners of the 12th edition of the Pauleta Azores Soccer Cup. Estoril's formation won the Clube de Futebol Pauleta in the sub-12 final by 2-0. David Silva, coordinator of the Lisbon team, highlights the quality of the tournament and congratulates his players. "It was a great challenge, but the boys showed that they have quality and determination", said David Silva. In the sub-13 final, the victory was in the hands of Paris Saint-Germain – the game with União Micaelense ended tied at one goal, but in the penalty shootout, the Parisians took the best by 3-1. Coach Djamel Fredj says that this was a good learning experience for the young players. "The boys learned a lot from this experience and we will continue to work to improve", said Djamel Fredj. Pauleta Azores Soccer Cup, a reference tournament in São Miguel where names like Bernardo Silva, Gonçalo Ramos or João Neves have passed.
