The Câmara Municipal de Cascais is once again a stage for great moments of national football, with the realization of games of the Portuguese Women's National Team and the Under-21 National Team at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota, in Estoril, already in the first days of June. The entry for the two games will be free, with only the presentation of a ticket/invitation required, to be picked up at the Estoril Praia Store, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 19:00 (or until 19:30 on June 3, in the case of the Under-21 game). The Under-21 National Team returns to Cascais to discuss a preparation game against Northern Ireland, scheduled for June 3, at 19:30. This will be one of the last encounters in Portuguese soil of the formation led by Luís Freire in the 2025/2026 season, serving as preparation for the decisive qualification phase for the 2027 European Championship. Two days later, on June 5, at 20:00, it's the turn of the Portuguese Women's National Team to take the field at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota to face Latvia, a game that counts for the UEFA Women’s Nations League Group B3. The team led by Francisco Neto arrives at this game in sole leadership of the group, having already secured qualification for the play-off, in what will be the last game in Portuguese soil in this phase of the competition. With two important moments of Portuguese football taking place in the municipality, Cascais invites all fans to attend and support the national teams closely, contributing to a festive and supportive atmosphere in the stands.
